We are looking for an Information Governance Manager to join the Marie Curie team!
Title: Information Governance Manager
Salary: £50,000 to £57,200 per annum (depending on experience) plus £3500 London Allowance if applicable
Hours/Contract: 35 Hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Based: Hybrid - London office and Home Based

The Information Governance Manager works within the Information Governance framework and to the Data Protection Officer to develop, implement and audit the polices and processes to ensure the Charity correctly collections, manages and disposes of information, with a particular emphasis on Personal Data.
The Information Governance Manager also supports the DPO in providing the first port of call for data protection related queries within the charity and overseeing/undertaking data protection processes such as Subject Access Requests, Data Protection Impact Assessments and Data Breach investigation.
What we are looking for:
- Expertise, understanding and previous experience of managing data protection, preferably with experience in a health-related environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of records management, data quality management and other information governance criteria.
- Ability to take the lead on data protection and information governance policy and processes including development and enhancement of these.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in the information governance team and within the wider charity.
- Ability to manage a small team and appropriately delegate to this team and develop team members.
