An exciting opportunity to join the Onboard Experience team at British Airways, this role will require you to use your commercial knowledge, analytical skills and stakeholder management abilities to influence the commercial agenda of one of the airline’s most visible departments.
From airline caterers overseas to providers of custom tableware and bedding in the UK, you will be accountable for the financial and contractual governance of a portfolio of suppliers, within the Inflight Commercial and Planning team.
You will be the primary point of contact for commercial discussions within your portfolio, facilitating performance management against a recovery plan. landmarks.
Other duties include:
- Collaboration with Hospitality and Product to understand scope of services
- Drive the commercial analysis behind business cases relating to any contractual spend
- Monitor budgets withing portfolio and act as primary point of contact for finance and procurement partners
- Facilitate prioritisation of activity across the Onboard Experience team
The successful candidate will have strong commercial and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to tackle sophisticated problems with pragmatic solutions. Experience in a travel or hospitality environment would be advantageous.
