Pratt & Whitney Canada (UK) Ltd (P&WC UK) provides in-field Mobile Repair Teams (MRT) and in-shop Heavy Engine Maintenance (HEMA) support throughout Europe, the Middle East & Africa (EMEA).
PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide general support across the Quality, Technical and Materials function. The aim of the role is to allow the incumbent to gain experience across key areas of an aerospace engineering business.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations & Quality
- Co-ordinate and carry out all quality assurance and engineering activities.
- Carry out internal audits and closure of audit findings
- Ensure company forms/procedures are up to date/correct revision
- Investigate quality failures, raise and close RRCA action items
- Audit technical work packs upon completion
- Keep constellation tracker up to date
Chemicals
- Keep up to date with expiry dates
- Removing outdated stock and filing out quarantine log
- Ordering new stock when needed
- Ensuring stock levels are correct
Materials
- Assist with any inbound/outbound duties
- Use SAP to book in and issue parts as necessary
- Labelling parts with correct PO number
- Scanning and filing away certificates
- Distribute engine parts to the correct jobs
- Update parts pull sheet
- Booking in exchange parts and updating exchange log
- Booking returns into SAP.
