Job description
Company Overview
Maun Industries, a manufacturing company based just off the M1 (J27 / J28) between Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield, is recruiting an Industrial Engineer/Work Study Engineer into a temporary role to support our adoption of continuous improvement.
The company manufactures and markets a range of specialist consumer products. It has sales of £3m to £4m and has been ISO9001 accredited for 30 years. At the start of 2020, Maun came under new ownership and embarked upon a set of initiatives to “get match fit” for growth. This included adoption of a more capable ERP system and the initiation of a Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement programme.
Despite the pandemic, the business has enjoyed some success over the past three years. However, with sharply increased energy and raw material costs, Maun is determined more than ever to introduce a culture of LEAN and Continuous Improvement throughout its business.
