Induction Facilitator

The primary role of an Induction Facilitator is to confidently present a company approved Presentation, covering crucial Health and safety and environmental information to Construction personnel, here at the Sizewell C project. As part of the Induction process Facilitators will also carry out Drug and
Alcohol testing on all Induction attendees, full training will be given.

Induction Facilitators are Customer facing and are responsible for a number of administrative duties relating to the day to day running of the Induction Centre. Therefore, the successful applicant will display proficiency in IT and administration, along with an excellent Customer Service attitude and strong presentation skills.
You will be joining a small but growing team based in Leiston. You shall be working closely with the Induction Coordinator and our client EDF energy to deliver and improve our Induction Service.


Location: Sizewell C, Leiston, Suffolk

Pay: £14.55 per hour

Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week, standard office hours with some flexibility and possible Saturday working

Key Responsibilities

  • Front end of the process and the Facility.
  • First and last point of contact providing a fantastic first impression of the Sizewell C Project.
  • Efficiently and effectively administrating the registration process in a timely manner.
  • May conduct Drug & Alcohol Testing – full training provided.
  • Communicate the process and expectations for the running of the day.
  • Coordinate and support the Inductees throughout the day.
  • Efficiently and effectively update and maintain data in the Workforce Information Management System (WIMS).
  • Have an effective working relationship with the Workforce System Lead to support the use of the systems.
  • Effective use of the Workforce Information Management system (WIMS) in updating Induction records and other prerequisites for access as required. (Full training will be provided.)
  • Flexible working arrangements (this could include but not limited to, Job rotation and a requirement for overtime as well as the possibility for Saturday working during peak periods.)
  • Liaise with all key stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communications with all stakeholders.
  • Maintain customer focus and seek to resolve any conflicts harmoniously to minimise potential disruption or delay to the day.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all personal information.
  • Effectively processing and booking Inductions on behalf of the client.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information in line with the Data Protection Act.
  • Key enabler of access to the site and associated developments.
  • To be able to deliver induction after training.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • IT skills are essential - must have prior experience in MS office applications and preferably Salesforce or similar product.
  • Strong administration background.
  • Good organisational skills – Flexible, organised, methodical.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy schedule.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive.
  • Flexible approach with the ability to multi-task and work on own initiative.
