Our restaurant is based in Watford Junction, WD24 just 20 mins by train from Wembley central station (Over Ground) or 10 mins walk from Watford Junction station.
Matrix is a modern dining restaurant located in Watford Junction WD24. We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced chef who would like to make his mark serving modern Indian cuisine.
Our food concept revolves around authentic Indian food with a modern twist. Hence, it is important that the candidate has a deep understanding and appreciation for Indian cuisine. Ideally you should have few years of working experience in a reputed hotel in India and with a passion for modern cooking techniques.
We are looking for a well-experienced Chef with multi-cuisine and Indian experience
Candidates must have past experience in Preparing Indian curry sauces and dishes.
Must have experience in preparing, marinating, various Indian Tandoor Kebabs and must be skilled in operating Tandoor and preparing various types of Bread.
· Must have minimum 2-3 years in curry or tandoor chef experience, preferably in North Indian cooking knowledge.
· Would work in team and able to move around the position in the kitchen when needed.
· Good working knowledge of the day to day running of a kitchen, including ordering, stock rotation, and health and safety.
· The ability to lead by example, build a team and the ability to teach and develop other kitchen staff.
· You must be eligible to work in the UK and live easy commuting distance to Watford
· Every £2000 business increases per week you can earn 10% extra.
