We are recruiting to a permanent fulltime IDVA post to join the Warrington Domestic Abuse Hub. You will deliver a high quality frontline support service to medium and high risk victims of domestic abuse.
The Domestic Abuse Hub was established in April 2023 and since then we have been growing our team to meet the needs of Warrington residents affected by domestic abuse. In our team, we have IDVA’s working with Adults, a young person service working with 11-17 years olds and specialist IDVA’s working with minoritised communities. We are proud of our achievements in this short time and would like to continue our success with this appointment.
The key duties will include: completing risk assessments, providing safety advice, developing and reviewing safety plans, attending court, making onwards agency referrals, updating records, and advocating for victims. The post holder will also be required to attend Safeguarding and MARAC meetings and also support to deliver education and awareness sessions working with other team members.
You will work within a multiagency framework and establish strong partnerships with various agencies and departments this includes, NHS, Police, Children and Adults Safeguarding services, Voluntary sector and Housing agencies.
Please note this role is full time, 37 hours per week.
