Contract: Temporary, Full-time (19th March- Ongoing)

Salary: £250 per day

Status: Live-out

We are looking for an experienced and versatile Temporary Chef to cook for an HNWI in Mayfair. This will be from 19th of March. You will work in the principal’s Central London home and will be asked to prepare lunch and dinner for him and a friend every day. Most of the time it will just be the two of them however, there will be times when you will need to cater for more so it is necessary that you are flexible and can adapt easily.

The Chef should be able to prepare a wide range of dishes from different world cuisines but Asian dishes are the favourites. Other duties would be cooking for the other staff members, usually, 1 or 2 people and you will be required to serve on occasion. It is your responsibility to maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and occasionally clearing the table when the guests are finished.

You will be responsible for the provisioning and sourcing of the best ingredients; you should be organised and a good team player. The ideal candidate should be down to earth, calm, and unflappable, as well as flexible and adaptable, able to accommodate any last-minute changes and special requests.

Working hours would be 10:30 – 20:00 with a break in the day. There is the potential this role could become permanent for the right candidate and it is important to note that if it does become permanent it will be a travelling role -travelling with the principal for approximately 5 months of the year.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

· Menu planning in line with the principals’ preferences

· Preparing beautifully presented and delicious meals in with accordance to the principals’ tastes

· Sourcing high quality, and where possible locally sourced, organic ingredients

· Maintaining hygiene standards to the highest level

· Food quality control

· Liaising with the other staff at mealtimes

· Occasionally serving meals

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

· Prior experience as a Private Chef working for high-net-worth clients or super yacht experience

· Ability to prepare a broad range of dishes

· Hands-on approach

· Strict hygiene procedures

· Good communicator

· High level of spoken English

· Right to work in the UK

· Highly organised, motivated, and proactive

· Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet

· Excellent checkable references
