Income Processing Officer
Location: London
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Up to £29,344 per annum (inclusive of Inner London Weighting allowance)

About this opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, charity minded individual to join our income processing team based in London. The team were operating throughout the pandemic to ensure that our supporter’s donations were opened and banked and are key to the success of our fundraising. It’s an important role, especially at times of emergency when we need to ensure that we get the money to where it is needed as quickly as possible.
How you can make a difference
Every journey starts with a donation. We are a small team working as one, to ensure we meet the complex needs of our supporters. This means that we don’t only open and bank, but we analyse, we respond, and we care about what our supporters are telling us.
It’s a varied role, primarily office based as dealing with postal responses, but with some opportunity for hybrid working and flexibility around hours of work.
What you’ll be doing…
- Opening, batching, and banking donations as part of our Fundraising Operations Team
- Dealing with payment queries and raising concerns in line with our serious incidents policy
- Data processing to ensure all our gifts are accounted for and where eligible, gift aided
- General donor administration including managing mailing preferences and letters
