Job description
- Lead Generation: Utilise a variety of lead generation techniques, including market research, online networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media, to identify and qualify potential clients.
- Prospecting: Research and identify key decision-makers within target companies to establish initial contact and create a pipeline of potential clients.
- Engage and Qualify: Engage with prospects through effective communication channels, such as phone calls, emails, and social media, to understand their translation/localisation needs, qualify their interest, and identify opportunities for our solutions.
- Solution Presentation: Clearly and persuasively communicate the value proposition of our services to prospects, highlighting the benefits and differentiators that address their specific requirements.
- Relationship Building: Nurture relationships with potential clients by consistently following up and providing relevant information, ensuring a positive and personalised experience.
- Collaboration with BDMs: Collaborate closely with Business Development Managers to pass qualified leads and provide them with all the necessary information and context to successfully close deals.
- Sales Support: Provide support to BDMs during the sales process, including coordinating meetings, preparing sales materials, and assisting in proposal development.
- CRM Management: Accurately record and update all lead and prospect information in the CRM system to track progress, generate reports, and ensure accurate data.
- Take personal responsibility for ensuring that personal information is used fairly and lawfully within GDPR guidelines, report any personal data security incidents immediately and abide by the Information Security Policy detailed in the Staff Handbook
- Any other duties appropriate to the position.
- Previous experience: in a lead generation or sales role.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with prospects and effectively articulate complex concepts in a concise and compelling manner.
- Persuasive Skills: Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade potential clients, showcasing strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.
- Self-Motivation: Proven track record of working independently and meeting or exceeding lead generation targets in a goal-oriented environment.
- Organisation and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and effectively prioritise tasks to maximise productivity.
- Technological Proficiency: Proficiency with CRM systems, lead generation tools, and other sales productivity software.
- Team Player: Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a sales team, supporting and contributing to the overall success of the team.
- Industry experience within the translation/localisation industry or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the translation/localisation industry, including key market players, trends, and challenges faced by businesses seeking localization solutions.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and ZoomInfo
