Overview

In- store Trainer required for new concept experiential retail Flagship Store
This is a brand new store and it will be a brand new experience for everyone involved – particularly your customers!
Based in Birmingham,my Client is bringing together some of the world’s most loved toy brands under one roof.
In This very unusual role you will train old and new customers to get the best out of my Clients range of Toys (suitable for adults as well!)
We need someone to deliver training, hold prearranged seminars and undertake ad hoc support and assistance.

You should be ;
  • Comfortable with presenting to groups, holding interactive workshops, delivering ad-hoc 1:1 training/advice in person and online.
  • Develop course material, presentations and user aids across the company’s products
  • Deliver practical training courses for customers on the company’s products and services
  • Deliver practical training courses for fellow colleagues of the company
  • Plan a regular session of structured courses which engage visitors and draws people to the Experience.
  • Training seminars will be face to face or live streamed and potentially recorded for future use.
  • Confidence in presenting to consumers in an open trading environment is important
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge on the company products and work closely with Technical and Product Managers on company developments.
The successful candidate should have the following characteristics:
  • Track record of training/presentation and training course development
  • Experience of working in a busy public environment.
  • Ability to push to achieve the best standards for the department in everything that is undertaken inclusive of but not complete regards to:
oAbility to understanding / learn tech specs of products
oCommercial and Service excellence awareness regards to what information is given to customers by yourself and your colleagues
oActively seeking ways to improve the customer experience
oProfessionalism whilst allowing the customer experience to be that which they will want to experience again.
