Tutor Specification:
SEN Experience Essential - Autism, as the individual can become overwhelmed and restless.
The ability implement various strategies to support individuals with SEN needs is essential.
Having a creative approach to learning enabling the learner to be engaged throughout their learning session.
Requirements
Premium Educators Ltd. maintain a high standard in recruiting staff and volunteers.
All Premium Educators Ltd. employees and volunteers are subject to an enhanced DBS check before they can begin working at our centre or within our partner schools.
All current and prospective employees must meet our minimum requirements for academic achievement and skill set.
- Being educated to degree level or studying towards a degree.
- Evidence of strong communication skill and some experience of working with young people.
- All Staff at Premium Educators Ltd. are required to complete safeguarding in-house and online training before starting work.
Recruitment Process
- Applicant fill in online Application Form.
- PEL arrange Interview (face to face or via Zoom)
- PEL will complete all Checks including Enhanced DBS Check, qualification and other relative checks.
- Job offer by PEL
- Applicant completes all sorts of training including, Safeguarding and attend Induction.
- Job Confirmation by PEL and Applicant starts work.
- Applicant attends all CPD trainings
We have had to disqualify applicants from the recruitment process and indeed report applicants for failing to make relevant disclosure in the process.
In addition to safeguarding measures every potential teacher has to complete attached application form in addition to our minimum qualification criteria which include Identity checks and face to face or video interviews.
Training
We provided in house and external where appropriate CPD training for all tutors and staff. In addition, all new, recently qualified teachers and graduates are ‘buddied’ with experienced teachers to provide support and direction in teaching and learning and our centre ethos.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Salary: £30.00-£40.00 per hour
