In-House Security Officer Lutterworth, England
Job description
An exciting opportunity has become available within the Unipart Security Department for a Licensed Security Officer to join our new In-House team at Magna Park South, near Lutterworth.
This is a brand new, state of the art, distribution centre, which will be occupied by one of our prestigious customers.
Successful applicants will receive a guaranteed salary of £30,401 pa (with optional overtime) and work rotational shifts incorporating 12-hour days and nights.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Provide a courteous, professional and welcoming atmosphere for all clients, their representatives and visitors to the company.
- Provide security for 'People, Product & Property at all times.
- Conduct regular searches of site staff contractors and/or visitors.
- Conduct regular internal and external site patrols.
- Conduct gatehouse duties – seal checks, booking vehicles in/out on PC, vehicle searches, communicating site rules to drivers.
- Reporting of incidents and completing relevant reports
- Report any H&S breaches and/or concerns.
- CCTV monitoring and footage reviews / investigations.
- Assist with fire alarm tests and site evacuations.
- Respond to fire and/or intruder alarms where required.
- Issue and control staff and visitor access cards.
- Meet the requirements of the site Assignment Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.

Essential requirements for this role are:
- A valid front-line SIA license.
- A 5-year checkable history.
