If the answer to this is yes, then we have a fantastic opportunity to join the Improvement Team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as an Improvement Lead.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and outcome driven improvement professional to join a dynamic team who are 8 years into a 20 year journey to create a culture of continuous improvement.
The Improvement Team is the expert resource who are responsible for delivering a programme of QI education & training, coaching teams through their improvement projects, providing improvement advice & consultancy and ensuring overall governance of the Trust’s improvement programmes.
Quality Improvement has been highlighted as one of the key enablers to achieving objectives laid out in the Trust organisational strategy for the next 3 years. This is an exciting time for the team as we strategically transition QI from “nice to have” to “business as usual” including key programmes of work to design & implement systematic delivery of QI training across the whole organisation.
Our Improvement Leads support and coach a wide range of clinical and corporate teams to deliver improvement projects; are involved in the development & delivery of QI training programmes.
- To ensure systems are in place to enable quality improvement information to be used effectively by the Trust Board and managers at all levels across the Trust.
- To understand and interpret new strategic targets and policies both at a national and local level which are relevant to the Trust, ensuring that systems are in place to enable quality improvement performance to be measured, reported and flagged.
- To analyse key performance data relating to quality improvement, identifying areas of poor performance and agreeing an improvement plan with the relevant teams.
- Assist in the implementation of the standardised QI methodology across the trust which will deliver the key priorities outlined in the Trust’s Quality Strategy.
