Service Delivery Analyst

Purpose
Working within the Commercial Data team within SP Commercial Metering, your role will encompass all HHDC and HHDA processes to ensure the business meet our overall regulatory and commercial targets with regards to Data Collection and Aggregation.
Key tasks include identifying and resolving high priority issues for Supplier Settlement Performance and Billing, as well as Energy management processes for our commercial customers.
Additionally, there will be requirement to handle industry flows ensuring that our systems are kept up to date with valid industry information.
Responsibilities
- Processing work in order to meet contractual requirements and mandatory obligations of the Settlements timetable.
- Responsible for resolving queries about missing or misprocessed data.
- Responsible for ensuring all processes are completed on time and raising performance problems with relevant service provider – initial contact with service providers of infrastructure and IT applications.
- Maintaining standing data updates on systems.
- Instigation, running and monitoring all processes performed by the HHDC and HHDA applications.
- Manage and control the provision of data to the Website to ensure that standing data for all sites is set up and remains in line with HHDC and is transferred accurately within timescales.
- Monitoring the performance outputs of the business against a series of KPIs focused on the contractual requirements and mandatory obligations of the Business.
- Responsible for resolving performance issues affecting achievement of goals.
- Problem solving to identify means of overcoming obstacles to achieve Business goals.
- Providing weekly management reports to senior management level.
Skills and Requirements
- Professional problem solving skills.
- Innovative thinker.
- Skilled user of databases, Microsoft Office applications.
- Extensive working knowledge of UK wholesale market trading arrangements.
- Understanding of Data Transfer Network and Data flows used in the DTN.
- Good understanding of HHDC and HHDA contractual obligations.
- Good understanding of Data Retrieval.
- Good technical understanding of metering.
- Good understanding of complexities of Settlement timetable and mandatory requirements.
- Very good technical understanding of applications schema and all the different IT processes that achieve business requirements.
- Good understanding of industry regulation in terms of how the business complies with the Balancing and Settlement Code.
Minimum Criteria
- Graduate or 3 years relevant business experience
- Excellent understanding of industry regulation in terms of how the Business complies with the relevant Balancing and Settlement Codes.
- Extensive knowledge of the I&C market.
