Imaging Technician
Job description
The successful candidate will have had experience of working in a healthcare setting or working with people. An interest or experience in photography or imaging would be helpful, but full training will be given.You will need to be a good communicator as you will be dealing with mainly older patients, some with visual impairment. The successful applicant will be asked to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a busy team.They will be expected to carry out visual field assessments, OCTs using various different imaging instruments and platforms, as well as other imaging techniques as requested by coordinating senior imagers on the day, depending on experience. There will be some teaching and supervision of more junior/less experienced imagers expected.
