A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Imaging Administrator to work as an integral part of the Imaging team.
The Imaging Administrator role in the Imaging department, involves building relationships with all third parties and associated healthcare professionals. The role also involves taking the initiative to ensure all processes for the patient’s journey is followed.
As an Imaging Administrator, you will:
Be a direct point of contact for all entering the Imaging department.
Provide a professional service for all clients, patients, visitors, and staff.
Ensuring patients complete necessary paperwork prior to their appointment.
Ensure all radiology reports are forwarded to relevant referrers as soon as reports are available.
Patient details are updated on our administration systems.
Liaising with all Consultants, GPs, Consultant staff, referrers, and other departments within the clinic.
Ensure all queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
Booking and registering of patients onto the internal booking system.
Making appointments via telephone, e-mail, fax, and in person.
Creating patient accounts: raising invoices; taking payment.
Provide an efficient and courteous service for patients, visitors, and staff, through good organisation and administration.
