Employing in-house I.T. expertise is expensive. arc I.T. Solutions can act as your outsourced I.T. department with our Helpdesk and Onsite teams, providing as much or as little support as your business need.
Working week:
Monday to Friday 0800-1630 or 0900-1730 (60 minute lunch)
Positions available:
1
- Talking to clients and guiding them through IT support issues.
- Logging and dealing with tickets from clients through our remote monitoring and management tool.
- Completing client jobs/ projects.
- Answering the phone, taking details and transferring to the right person.
- Going to client’s sites and fixing issues.
- Documenting work done using our work OS.
- Keeping own workspace tidy, cleaning duties are shared as a team around the office.
Requirements and prospects
Qualifications Required:
Functional Skills Maths and English at Level 2
Desired skills:
IT skills, attention to detail, able to follow instructions, work in a team, good mathematical skills along with good communication skills.
Personal Qualities:
Good Listener, Timekeeping, Respect in the workplace, communication skills, keen interest in technology.
Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communication Technician qualification:
The qualification has core knowledge elements, before branching out into one of the following pathways:
- IT Support Technician
- Network Technician
- Digital Communications Technician
Your Tutor, Pathway Planner and Employer will decide the best pathway for you to follow.
All training is delivered online in virtual classrooms twice per week
You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths if needed
Future Prospects:
Permanent role, and progression onto Level 4 Network Engineer role and apprenticeship
