Job description
Sheffield IAPT Health and Wellbeing Service
Sheffield IAPT is at the forefront of transforming access to psychological therapies, aiming to offer interventions to over 17,000 people in Sheffield each year.
The IAPT Health and Wellbeing Team delivers a range of evidence based, stepped-care interventions for people living with long term physical health conditions who are also experiencing anxiety or depression.
The team brings together experienced IAPT Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Counsellors and Clinical Health Psychologists to work closely together with health, social care and third sector colleagues across primary and secondary care in a range of physical health condition pathways.
An early implementer site and one of the largest IAPT LTC sites in the country, we have well established pathways working with patients with Diabetes, COPD, CHD, CFS/ME, IBS, MUS/PPS and Chronic Pain.
As an innovative and responsive service, we are expanding to meet additional needs associated with the Coronavirus Pandemic, offering new physical health condition pathways for patients experiencing Long-Covid and Tinnitus.
