We have a number of Skilled Hygiene roles available, working on a day shift, for our Boness Carriden site.

Pay:

£10.50 per hour – Weekly Paid.

Shift Patterns:

Thursday - Monday - 06.00 - 14.00

Friday - Tuesday - 06.00 - 14.00

Location: Boness, (Carriden Industrial Estate, EH51 9SJ)

We manufacture a wide range of high-quality fresh prepared food. Which means, our production lines are non-stop. So, you’ll be kept busy with the following duties:

The role:

• Clean designated areas using equipment and chemicals appropriate to the area, in accordance with daily and deep clean schedules.
• Use chemicals to complete cleaning to a high standard, keeping floors and drains as clean and dry as possible.
• Count stock, maintain and replenish supply rooms and factory dispensers for PPE, chemicals, hygiene consumables and reporting any low stock issues.
• Collect and remove rubbish and dispose of through the appropriate waste and recycling streams.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as vacuums and floor cleaners.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of the importance of hygiene, GMP and health and safety in a production environment
• To be self-disciplined, motivated, and able to work on own initiative when necessary.
• Good communication skills - able to understand and follow instructions to carry out daily tasks.
• Able to work at pace and follow procedures.
• Flexible approach to work
