Job description
- £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience and skillset)
- Monday to Friday 8.30-5.00

The Role
- Pro-actively manage the Hygiene Function on site to ensure that a safe and sustainable working environment exists for all employees. Demonstrating a continuous improvement mentality for Safety, Health & Environment and a relentless drive for results.
- Lead and drive hygiene standards within your site through regular monitoring and auditing of strip down and cleaning taking place to ensure that both business and customer standards and audit requirements are met or exceeded.
- To ensure agreed controls for safe working practices in relation to personnel, chemicals, processes or raw materials are adhered to.
- Appropriately manage the performance of all team members including direct reports. Actively coach, develop, recruit and train team members.
- Ensure the team deliver to agreed KPI’s across the operation and drive improvement on these. Ensuring systems are in place to collect the necessary data to measure performance against the agreed KPIs and communicating these clearly out to the teams and to the Dual Site Hygiene Manager on a weekly or monthly basis (depending on the KPI).
- Plan, organise and measure labour and material requirements within the area to ensure that both short and long term agreed targets are met. Demonstrating control of all financial impacts of the Hygiene Function.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping, hygiene and quality standards - ensuring that all data, documentation and records are maintained accurately and taking the lead with supplier or in-house audit activities.

- Experience in a Hygiene or Technical role within a food or beverage manufacturing environment.

- A relentless appetite for success both personally and of their teams
- IT literacy and a knowledge of MS Office applications (in particular Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).
