Job description
Key Responsibilities of the Hydraulic Fitter / Mechanical Fitter will include:
- Building and assembling a range of bespoke machinery, ensuring that all units are produced in line with drawings & specifications
- Carefully and accurately following build procedures & instructions
- May include some travel to sites for servicing / repair works
For the Hydraulic Fitter / Mechanical Fitter, we are keen to receive CVs from individuals who possess:
- IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL – Formal qualifications within a relevant subject (Apprenticeship, NVQ/City & Guilds/ BTEC, HNC, HND etc.)
- Previous experience working in a similar role as well as the ability to effectively use hand & power tools
- The ability to read, interpret and work directly from engineering drawings
Working Hours of the Hydraulic Fitter / Mechanical Fitter:
38 Per week, spread across a regular day shift
- Monday to Thursday – 08:00 to 16:30
- Friday – 08:00 to 14:30
