We are now looking for a Human Resources Systems Officer to join our teams at our Swansea or Carmarthen Campuses on a full time, permanent basis. - THE ROLE - As a Human Resources Systems Officer, you will provide systems support to the Human Resources Department and have responsibility for supporting HR information systems including payroll and general HR system processes. You will need to ensure accuracy and data integrity including supporting with technical developments and digitization of processes. You will also support the annual HESA (Higher Education Statistical Agency) return process and be responsible for running data checks and error reporting on the system You will be responsible for system changes on the HR Management Information System and communicating staff changes to payroll and produce and analyse HR management information identifying patterns and trends and running reports You will provide technical support for the University e-recruitment system and support the HR continuous improvement of business process and systems. You will provide support to the HR team with system queries, guidance documentation and internal and external audits - ABOUT YOU – To be considered as a Human Resources Systems Officer, you will need: - A degree in a relevant subject - Professional qualification in systems, project management or working towards or equivalent experience - Significant experience in providing systems support - Demonstrable experience of using database systems including testing and error reporting. - Experience of using HR Management Information Systems including running reports and analysing data - Excellent communication skills and experience of providing system advice to colleagues. - Experience of drafting systems process and guidance documents - Effective organisational skills and demonstrable attention to detail - Excellent Digital skills specifically in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams Having a professional qualification in systems or project management and the ability to communicate in Welsh would be beneficial to your role.
