Job overview and responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the whole employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, compensation, and benefits, sickness absence management, offboarding, and other corporate programs.
- Provide assistance and guidance to employees and staff management in the interpretation of company policies and local law work rules, and procedures to assure consistent application.
- Monthly payroll data management and monthly auditing of HR Systems to ensure HR salary data is aligned with payroll
- Working in partnership with Talent Acquisition to complete internal and external recruitment for frontline and management and admin roles.
- Issuing offers of employment, and employment to contracts new and existing employees.
- Partnering with the department HR Coordinator to ensure successful completion of pre-employment medicals, criminal record checks and referencing.
- Facilitating monthly new hire orientation sessions
- Life Cycle Changes – Processing Paternity and Maternity cases, resignations, changes in FT to PT and making the changes in the HR System
- Sickness Absence Management – Processing monthly sickness records and updating the employee sickness database to submit to payroll
- Employee relations – Attending ER meetings and drafting meeting notes
- Benefits Administration – Implementing the annual flexible benefits process, conducting testing on the annual flexible benefit platform and communicating annual flexible benefits to employees,
- Support HR strategic projects as and when assigned
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Qualifications
Required
- Previous payroll related experience
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience in HR field or role with heavy HR responsibilities
- Good analytical skills, communication skills, and attention to detail
- Knowledge in local labor laws
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
