We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Officer for our 4 Star Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa, in Redhill Surrey.

This stunning 4 star country house hotel and spa is regarded as one of the best hotels in Redhill. With its elegant décor and endless amenities the hotel is popular choice for both corporate and leisure guests.

We are excited to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and friendly Hotel HR Officer to join our small Regional Team.

This is a new role created to be based at hotel level and will support the Regional HR Manager and Hotel Management team to deliver an outstanding employment experience for all our team

This Hotel based HR Officer role is required for 40 hours each week, on a Monday to Friday basis, and must be site based to provide optimal accessibility to the hotel team.

About the role:

  • As Human Resources Officer you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to managers and team members for routine employment related matters.
  • This is an HR generalist role, where no two days are the same and where, in addition to routine administrative tasks, you will gain exposure to a wide range of HR related activities including; employee engagement, employee relations & training delivery.
  • This will include responsibility for the regular delivery of small group inductions for new starters. Your career growth and development will be actively supported by the Regional HR Manager.
  • You will interact daily with the hotel team and also routinely with the wider HR, Resourcing and Training team network across the group.
  • Delivering an efficient and accurate HR service for the Hotel, making effective use of our HR information system among others.
  • Supporting to welcome and engage new team members through the enthusiastic delivery of our Company Induction programme.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador, promoting Company values and behaviours and supporting people related initiatives aimed to improve team member engagement.

About you:

  • You will have experience working in an HR generalist role, ideally gained within the hospitality industry.
  • It is essential you have excellent administrative skills with a good knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook. Previous experience of working with an HRIS is desirable.
  • You are confident when working alone, highly organised and able to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail in a busy and fast paced environment.
  • You have good communication skills, find it easy to build rapport with others and will understand the importance of treating everyone as an individual.
