HR Manager (9 month FTC)

As a HR Manager you'll be responsible for people management across our organisation, franchise business training, and delivering exceptional cultural engagement. You are able to adapt to business needs, see opportunity in ambiguity and can comfortably drive change. You will act as a strategic advisor to senior management during investment and divestment activities. Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including new joiners, remuneration, promotion, demotion, performance management and leavers- aligning with the company policy. You'll be part of a growing team, managing up to three heads to help deliver the vision of senior management. The opportunity is a twelve month fixed term contract with the opportunity for a full time position.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and overseeing of HR relations for TopCo and its OpCos
- Maintaining and updating employee files regularly and when needed
- Strategically advising senior management during investment and divestment cycles with complex HR related matters and general day to day HR related matters
- Documenting, Facilitating and Administrating new joiners, remuneration, promotions, demotions, performance management, redundancy and leavers
- Reviewing TopCo and OpCo policies and updating accordingly for new legislation and changes in company mission/values
- Ensuring employees adhere to company policies
- Driving employee engagement through culture, behaviour and structured training
- Maintaining a high level of confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of work
- Contributing towards the team delivery strategy, with a view to identifying means of improving performance
- Starting Feb/Mar 2023 (12 month fixed contract with the opportunity for a permanent position)
What You'll Need
- CIPD Level 5 or 7
- Multiple years of experience of working in as well as managing a HR team, ideally within a customer orientated commercial environment
- Comfortability working independently
- Knowledge of employment legislation, its application and best practice including HR employee lifecycles
- Skills & abilities building and managing partnerships internally and externally of the organisation
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across cultural boundaries
- Self-motivation, be well-organised, adaptable, resilient and possess a growth mind-set
- Ability to adhere to employee confidentiality
- Show a genuine interest in our OpCos and the products we offer
Preferred Qualifications/Experience/Skills
- A university degree in Business/HR related fields
- Strong capability utilising Microsoft Office Products
- High attention to detail
- Experience of case management
- Experience using Iris (Octopus) and other HR systems
- Confidence to advise senior management quantitatively and qualitatively
- Ability to work under pressure during deal cycles
- Familiarity with Franchise business models
