We deliver high-tech products and services worldwide to the energy sector which means that there is a definite international flavour to the way the company operates. This role is an integral part of the AnTech team, helping to ensure that all people tasks are taken care of.
The role of Human Resources Manager requires someone who understands the positive contribution that a well organised and smoothly running HR system has on the wellbeing of the employees and the productivity of the business. They will need to be able to adapt in dynamic environment where a change in response or task is required.
This individual will have the necessary experience within HR, but it would also suit
someone who wants to move into a more senior management role.
The vacancy has come about due to the current Head of Human Resources is moving on after 8 years to a Director of Human Resources role within a larger organisation.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Provide high-quality advice and support to management on daily employee relations, performance management issues and pastoral care.
- Implement programs to help improve the employee experience.
- International HR with the support of management.
- Implement and administer employee policies and procedures.
- Keeping up to date with all HR related laws, keeping company documents and
procedures relevant.
- Offer proactive domestic and international recruitment in line with business strategy and requirements.
- Arranging recruitment VISA’s where required and liaise with external legal support,
including renewals and government compliance
- Maintain ongoing relationships with employment agencies to ensure the selection of the most qualified candidates.
- Induction/On boarding for new staff in conjunction with line manager.
- Collation of new staff/contractors paperwork, offer documentation, reference
checking and ensuring right to work compliance/qualifications and contracts.
- Maintain existing company organisational charts and create new charts upon request.
- Collate all monthly payroll data ready for payroll monthly deadline.
- Maintain employee database (BrightHR).
- Moniter appraisals calendar and manage documentation.
- Handling grievances and disciplinary, including documentation
- Other HR duties as and when required.

Personal Situation: Able to commute reliably to office base. Able to work extended hours on occasions when required.
Specific Job Skills: Must be an excellent communicator. A keen and responsible attitude to work is essential and an ability to show initiative in all responsibilities and tasks. CIPD qualified.
Computer Skills: Must be adept in use of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word,
SharePoint.
Management Ability: People-management skills
