Working as part of the UKI (United Kingdom & Ireland) Business Advisory Centre, you will interact with a broad spectrum of stakeholders and your allocated client group to provide HR advice and support on people issues, culture change and global processes such as the annual compensation cycle and talent management.
Based on a good understanding of end-to-end processes you will work collaboratively with key HR functions, specifically HR Business Partners, HR Direct (online and telephone support service), Specialist HR Product Groups and HR Operations, to deliver a high quality of service to clients. You will be a key contributor to the development of the Business Advisory Centre through involvement in performance improvement projects and implementation of best practice initiatives across the team.

Your key responsibilities
Advising, coaching and supporting managers on employment relations queries and issues
Assisting in the coordination of various activities spanning the Business Advisory team: Restructuring, year-end compensation and ad hoc team projects
Performance management cases, including advising managers and managing end to end process.
Being the key liaison between employees, managers and Rood Lane in sickness absence cases for your business area, escalating issues at an early stage
Processing all flexible working request applications for your business area
Supporting on local queries and requirements for processes such as Visa enquiries and local to local transfers
Your skills and experience
Previous HR experience particularly in the areas of occupational health, employee relations (ER), and performance/absence management
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; sound judgement
Experience in working within a matrix team environment
Strong analytical skills – experience in dealing with management information and confident Excel user
Flexible and resilient with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
