About the Role
We are looking to hire a Human Resource (HR) Generalist to support our EMEA market here at Litmos. The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, enforcing company policies and practices, and supporting employee relations topics.
What you'll do:
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Conduct employee onboarding
- Supports and organizes training & development initiatives
- Coordinates employee recognition programs.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Undertake tasks around performance management
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
- Organize employee performance review process
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you Bring:
- 3+ years proven experience as an HR Generalist
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organisation's HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and Recruiting systems (ADP & Greenhouse experience a plus).
- Desire to work in a team-driven and collaborative setting
