HR Business Partner for Operations (Industrial Gases, UK)

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a critical role for the success of the Air Products' growing Operations part of the business, which is also supporting Hydrogen for Mobility and large projects in UK and Ireland.
You will develop understanding of Air Products' business and use these insights to tailor strategy and solutions to meet organisational needs now and in the future. Your HR expertise will partner with Air Products' leaders in areas, such as organisation design, organisation development and engagement.
You will report to the Senior HR Business Partner for UK and Ireland. You will support the Operations organisation with 650 colleagues. You will be home-based and will travel across UK when needed.
LOCATION: Home-based, anywhere in the UK
EDUCATION: CIPD Level 7 or Degree in Human Resources

As the HR Business Partner (Operations), you will
- Look after overall industrial relations and continue to build the relationship between Air Products and Trade Unions
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders in the business
- Use experience, skills and knowledge of the HR industry to make an impact in key areas such as change management, organisational design, employee engagement and talent analytics
- Provide expert input across a range of HR areas; design and deliver high impact solutions that meet the needs of the business.
- Support line managers across the business on organisational structure and design
- Provide strategic and day to day leadership to drive the delivery of the business’ HR plans
- Combine a range of data with personal experience to develop insight into given business areas, its customers and the external context it operates within
- Assist in the articulation of the values and culture of the organization
- Assist in building strong talent pipelines
- Contribute to and define policies and processes
- Coach and build the leaders' capabilities to anticipate and pre-empt organisational issues
- Understand and anticipate the need for change; build frameworks to plan and manage the continuous process of change
As the HR Business Partner (Operations), you already have or are
- CIPD Level 7 or Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of employment law and understanding of the role of legislation in the HR industry; knowledge of what the organisation needs to do to mitigate risk
- Experience with project, programme and change management (incl. cultural change, diversity etc)
- Understanding of and experience with organisational design, development, resource and talent planning, L&D, performance & reward, employee engagement, employee relations, service delivery and information
