In the role of HR Business Partner, you will be a true generalist. The post holder will provide advice, support recruitment processes and employee relations, undertake learning and development interventions, as well as supporting and leading on key HR specialisms which could include engagement and retention, reward and recognition, digitalisation and systems enhancements, talent and succession planning, change management, organisational design, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion and employer branding.
The successful candidate will be an experienced HR professional who has proven record of accomplishment of working with and influencing senior leaders. The individual will be experienced in all aspects of HR in order to be able to provide expert advice, guidance and support to leaders, managers and employees, whilst being able to support the delivery of key HR initiatives to support the continual growth and success of the business.
The post holder must have strong communication skills, be able to quickly develop and build strong working relationships at all levels within the organisation, whilst being able to demonstrate a broad level of HR experience to support the delivery of key HR priorities and/or projects.

Purpose
Reporting to the HR Director, the role will provide strategic HR Business Partnership to assigned business units, providing insights, technical know-how and support to help support and shape the people agenda. The role will also support headcount planning and forecasting, whilst providing specialist technical expertise to ensure, policies, procedures, legal requirements and standards are adhered to.
As a true generalist, the post holder will provide advice, support recruitment and talent acquisition planning, , manage and advise on employee relations, undertake learning and development interventions, as well as supporting and leading on key HR specialisms which could include engagement and retention, reward and recognition, digitalisation and systems enhancements, talent and succession planning, change management, organisational design, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion and employer branding.
In addition, the post holder will also take ownership for specific projects, as required.
Profile

Main Responsibilities
To lead on key HR projects and/or objectives either at a business level or at a company/corporate level.
Support organisational change on HR related activities such as organisational design, restructures, growth plans, talent development etc.
Lead on a number of key areas of specialism eg reward and recognition, engagement, recruitment & retention. This will include developing strategies, implementing and enhancing processes, managing suppliers and stakeholders, whilst also leveraging technology platforms.
Contribute to strategy development for attracting, recruiting and retaining highly skilled and talented employees to the organisation.
Support and guide managers with grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings.
Work in partnership with line managers on performance management, employee relations, resourcing and staff management/development.
Support the recruitment process for assigned business area whilst providing input and support to the Recruitment Specialist to ensure the attraction and retention of high calibre candidates.
Ensure HR records are accurate and up to date and comply with employment legislation.
Leverage HR systems/IT to ensure information is accurately recorded and business benefits can be delivered from such systems.
Develop and work towards stretching HR KPI’s to drive business improvements and to measure performance.
Ensure existing and new HR polices are developed/up to date. Such policies should meet the needs of the business, whilst ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal Standard Operating Procedures/Policy.
Work with other internal departments and stakeholders to support the design and creation of HR initiatives that meet the needs of the business.
Design and deliver internal training as required e.g. HR Induction, Recruitment Policy & Process training, Essential HR Training for Line Manager, Systems etc.
Provide advice and guidance on benefits and reward, including management of the annual salary review process for assigned business areas.
Support managers with performance management processes, including performance appraisals, competency assessments, coaching, action plans etc.
In partnerships with key stakeholders, managing labour forecasting and planning for assigned business areas.
Analyse key HR metrics and employee feedback in order to support development of key HR initiatives to support and maintain Chiesi as a great place to work.
Support all areas of HR as required to meet the needs of the department and the business.
Support cross-functional projects and internal audits as required.
Respond and deliver to ad hoc work requests from immediate line manager and/or senior managers.
Ensure strict compliance to both company standards (SOPs) and the ABPI Code of Practice
Comply with the Company Code of Ethics
Contribute and support the UK Affiliate in its pursuit to become more sustainable.
Role Requirements
Degree qualified and/or CIPD qualified (or equivalent)
Experience of working as an HR Business Partner
Strong project management skills
Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet/Intranet platforms and success factors (or other relevant HRIS).
Excellent organisational skills as the role requires significant multi-tasking which involves reprioritisation of workload on a regular basis.
Excellent attention to detail skills and the ability to produce work to a consistently high standard.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal sensitively and diplomatically with a range of people and/or issues
Skilled communicator who is able to influence, negotiate and build trust at all levels within the organisation
