Sunfield is an independent specialist school and children’s home located on 58 acres in the beautiful Clent Hills in the West Midlands. We provide education, care, and therapy for children and young people with a variety of social, emotional, physical, and learning difficulties, including autism and visual impairment.
Sunfield Specialist School and Children’s Home is located in the beautiful Clent Hills, West Midlands and is part of the Ruskin Mill Trust providing innovative and experiential education, and supports young people (6 – 19 years) with complex learning needs, including autism and PDA.
Human Resources Assistant
Starting Salary: £23,996 (Grade 7) - 40 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
(Applicants may also be considered for 32 hours per week for 52 weeks per year).

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Assistant to join the Trust, based at Sunfield Children’s Home, Clent, to work as part of the existing Human Resources team with responsibility for administrative HR functions across Trust sites. With the Trust rapidly growing in size, this is an exciting time to join us and become part of our team.
As part of a larger Trust Human Resources service, you will be responsible for the undertaking of routine administrative duties, completing vetting checks to the standard required in Keeping Children Safe in Education/Childrens Social Care for all new staff, inputting of data onto computer based systems, supporting payroll changes, maintenance of the human resources filing systems and supporting the administration for recruitment. This is a true generalist role and provide an excellent all round insight into a busy HR team.
Experience or a keen interest in the Human Resources function as well as excellent administration and communication skills is a must.
