Job description
The National Institute of Teaching (NIoT) has an unswerving commitment to high quality, evidence-informed teacher education, and is on a mission to improve the quality of teacher and leader development across the system.
Supporting the NIOT in achieving its outcomes will be around 150 employees, with a wide variety of roles including academic staff and support staff with an equally wide variety of types of contracts including term time, fixed term, permanent & ad hoc.
- The role is a full time, permanent position, with flexible and remote working available
- Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Assistant will support the department in all areas of HR within an in-house HR team to contribute to the provision of an effective and supportive HR Department for the National Institute of Teaching Community.
- The role is a great opportunity for someone with a positive, pragmatic and collaborative approach with an interest in generalist HR and involvement in development & continuous improvement and is best suited to a candidate with a ‘can-do’, professional attitude.
- Though this is not essential, experience of working in a HR environment is desirable.
