HR Advisor
Based at our Lane End, ELGA Labwater Head Office
Permanent, Full-time, Monday - Friday 37 hours
25 Days Annual Leave + UK Bank Holidays (with option to buy/sell!), Generous Pension Scheme.

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our leading, well respected water technologies company, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR team to provide first class HR support to the designated Business Unit(s). As a HR Advisor, you will be responsible for:
- Providing first line generalist HR advice on matters including policies and procedures, recruitment and selection, attendance, employee relations and terms and conditions of employment.
- Working closely with HR Business Partners to effectively coach and encourage managers to take ownership of people practices.
- Producing employment related correspondence for employees, ensuring all employee changes are fully documented and that electronic files are maintained.
- Monitoring sickness/absence levels across designated Business Units and ensure absence procedures are followed.
- Supporting the disciplinary, grievance and capability processes, including advising managers, arranging and attending meetings and note taking.
- Working with the Recruitment Team to ensure an efficient and effective recruitment service and a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers (permanent/ agency/ contractors/ graduates/ apprentices) as well as ensuring the managers are completing employee inductions and the onboarding process.
- Work with managers to understand training and development needs and ensure managers are completing appraisals and PDPs.
We would like you to have:
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience (essential)
- HR generalist experience ideally in a Manufacturing environment (essential)
- Proven experience influencing stakeholders
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- IT literate – experience of using word, excel and powerpoint and/or ideally some experience using Google Suite
