Job description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HR Advisor to join our friendly team. You will provide professional and business focused HR support and advice to managers and will be aligned to specific Divisions working alongside colleagues and the wider HR team.
The role offers the opportunity to develop a broad generalist portfolio of HR experience in a supportive and proactive team environment. You will support and advise on a wide range of issues including sickness absence management, disciplinary and grievance, change management and interpretation of policies and terms and conditions of employment.
This role will involve working flexibly, which could include working from the main office on the Stepping Hill site, community locations and there is also the opportunity to work from home on a hybrid arrangement.
Interviews for the post will be taking place Thursday 29 June 2023.
You will be hard working, results orientated and an excellent communicator. Furthermore, you will need strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to quickly gain credibility to build effective working relationships with a portfolio of managers at all levels across the organisation.
You should be experienced in the use of HR systems to translate workforce information into agreed actions. You will also support the delivery of training and development for managers in relation to HR policies and practices.
In addition, you will support colleagues in the delivery of our wider portfolio, which includes diversity & inclusion, recruitment and our just culture approach.
Candidates must be either fully CIPD qualified or have equivalent experience working at HR Advisor level in a large unionised organisation. HR experience in the NHS or public sector would be an advantage but is not essential. Candidates will be required to travel between the Trust sites.
