About the Role

The working hours are 37.5 per week which will be primarily 09:00 - 17:30 (we do have some flexibility) with one day per week 11:00 - 19:30 to ensure our night drivers feel supported too. This role is primarily based out of our North Acton Depot with occasional days in our Central London and Birmingham offices. There may also be options for hybrid working.
Responsibilities include:
- Working as part of a team to create and implement things like socials, changes to policy, comms etc
- Management of recruitment for Operations roles via our ATS (Talos)
- Liaising with drivers directly to answer their queries and support them
- Managing and maintaining our HRIS system (BambooHR)
- Co-ordinating payroll for the Operations team and ensuring our payroll system (Pento) is up to date
- Managing a variety of employee relations from absence issues to disciplinary and grievance matters
- Project work - for example creating training, coming up with and implementing new ideas
- Management and reporting from our engagement system (WinningTemp)
- The design and production of statistics
- Issuing and management of contracts and contractual amendments
- Ensuring all employee files are complete and up to date
- Supporting the completion of quarterly reviews
- Acting as a custodian of policies and fairness
