We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our dynamic HR team as a HR Administrator. This is a great opportunity to be a key part of a team, which delivers a core service to a workforce of approximately 1200 people.
The Role
In this busy and varied role, you will play an important part in the HR department, acting as the first point of contact for staff queries and signposting them appropriately. We are therefore looking for someone who is driven, with great interpersonal and customer service skills. You will be involved in the full HR lifecycle, from publishing adverts, to collating and circulating applications and references, as well as making arrangements for visiting academics and generating correspondence for a range of people, both internal and external, so the ability to multi task in an organised way is a positive.
With relevant administrative experience, preferably gained in a HR function, you will be a confident communicator, with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of people at all levels of seniority. You will join us with good organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise your workload to meet many conflicting deadlines. You will hold a high attention to detail to help ensure that the HR and payroll database and HR files are kept up to date.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an administrative background looking to start a career in Human Resources, with exposure to all areas of the HR function within a Higher Education setting.
The University
We are based on a beautiful 64-acre parkland campus, located in the heart of south-west London and are a supportive, close-knit and inclusive community, with a proud history in higher education stretching back more than 175 years. We believe strongly in developing our people and shall support the role holder with CPD activities and career development. The University is committed to promoting diversity and equality of opportunity and aims to create a culture and environment where students and staff are treated fairly.
The Benefits
