We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive and highly experienced HR Team at our West Thurrock Manufacturing Plant to deliver an exceptional employee experience!
Responsibilities Include:
Employee Facing: Act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.
HR Operations: Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties as well as on specific HR projects, this might mean creating policies, managing work processes, trainings and surveys. It will also include the administration and co-ordination of on-site events.
Recruiting: Conduct administrative support for recruiting by maintaining candidates’ data and job requisitions in the internal recruiting system, scheduling interviews, communication with candidates, preparing job offers etc. Coordinating initial orientation days and starting kit for new hires
Administration: Compile and update employee records, process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities as well as providing clerical/admin support to organisational executives.
Payroll: Executes payroll preparation by using relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
Data: Maintains accurate employee data in the company systems and processes changes and reports.
This role is based in our West Thurrock (London) Plant which offers an on-site gym, discounted canteen and free parking

Qualifications
Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
Moderate to high computer literacy with strong HR systems proficiency, and experience with MS Office application
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. You will need to be comfortable working autonomously
Communication skills: Able to effectively exchange and explain information, escalating where necessary. Excellent ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal
Collaboration: Builds stable working relationships inside and outside own work area.
