How does the work this team does make a difference
The team ensures the smooth running of transactional HR services by administering budgeted posts, recruitment and onboarding, employment changes and leavers. We also provide advice and support to candidates and existing managers and staff.
The purpose of this role
The purpose of the role is to provide effective and efficient HR administrative support to Police, the Commissioner and Fire Service. Act as the first point of contact to candidates, staff, officers and stakeholders in person, online and via telephone
Job description

We are recruiting for a HR Administrator who will be responsible for providing high quality, efficient and comprehensive administrative support across the HR Department.

Your responsibilities will include being the initial point of contact for HR queries, employee documentation, supporting with recruitment, inputting data and maintaining HR and Recruitment systems.

You will have the chance to bring your unique skills to our team who are compassionate, adaptive, and pro-active about delivering exceptional results.

This is a wonderful role for someone who is eager to learn and grow within an HR team to develop in Human Resources.

Hybrid working - combination of home working and working from Darby House or at other locations when attending events.

Recruitment and Selection Policy

Police Barred and Advisory lists

Individuals placed on the Police Barred and Advisory lists will not be considered for employment by the police for a minimum of 5 years from the date of listing in the case of gross misconduct, or 3 years from the date of listing in the case of poor performance.
