Qualifications: Certificate in People Practice (CIPD) Level 3 (or be working towards)
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the first point of contact for the business and colleagues.
- To advise on and implement policies relating to the effective use of HR within the company such as absence management, working practice, recruitment and pay and conditions of employment.
- Writing and reviewing company policies and procedures in line with legislation, terms and conditions of service and best practice.
- Ensuring that all employees’ records remain up to date and legally cover the company.
- To develop relevant forms and systems demonstrating discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality always. Manage, store, use and maintain ‘personal data’ and ‘sensitive personal data’ in compliance with Data Protection Policy and notify any concerns over potential breach of DPA to Business Manager or with recommendations for action to ensure compliance.
- Answering employee queries by email or in person on topics such as benefits, pensions and other HR related areas.
- Scheduling and assisting in the delivery of HR events such as training, inductions and exit interviews.
Essential skills:
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload autonomously
- Able to deal with issues of a sensitive nature
- Have a flexible and adaptable approach in the workplace.
- Capable of learning and understanding the main principles of our HR policies and procedures in order to advise others
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hillingdon: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Human resources: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- CIPD (preferred)
