HSSE Coordinator
We are looking for an Experienced HSSE Coordinator to join our New Distribution Centre based in Aylesbury, HP22, supporting our Health and Safety Manager to achieve safety greatness!
As a HSSE Coordinator, This role is crucial to ensuring all colleagues are trained and competent to undertake their role, leading by example, identifying training needs, developing and coordinating all training. Monitoring work practices through observations and auditing process.
Ideally, we would love you to be a hand’s on and observant person, who has an educational approach to colleagues to influence improvement and understanding of the health & Safety good practices across the team.

Responsibilities:
- You will assist in providing an effective and efficient Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) service under the direction of the HSSE Manager
- Assessing staff and department performance to identify skill gaps (TNA).
- Be an ambassador for learning, leading by example whilst providing training & support to all learners and continuous on the job coaching.
- Coordinate and arrange all training across site, including development of training plans, safe systems of work, competency checks
- Assist in the development and implementation of SHE improvements.
- Research, review and update SHE documents.
- Providing advice on SHE policies and procedures.
- Providing support in the completion of audits (internal and external).
- Support and assist with inspections and monitoring.
- Support and assist with the data entry, reporting and analysis of SHE data and information.
- Support and assist with the investigations of accidents and incidents.
- Prepare and maintain SHE records.
- Presenting SHE information to warehouse colleagues.
- Keep up to date with the latest regulations & legislation relevant to HSSE and ensure new practices are aligned within the business
Experience & Attributes:
- Recognised Health and Safety qualification (IOSH Managing Safely)
- Have excellent attention to detail
