Job Title: HSEQ Adviser
Location: Based in Andover, Hampshire
Reporting to: HSEQ Director

Our HSEQ Adviser plays a crucial role in driving us forward in the UK and abroad. This role is vital in our department and supports our mission to turn the planet orange!
Their purpose in this role is:
To be a focal point of safety across our multi-site business in the UK with occasional travel abroad
To drive forward our Safety Först brand by ensuring it is a key consideration in everything we do.
The HSEQ Adviser will work to reduce accidents, injury and health problems in the workplace
Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
To provide specialist advice to our front-line teams on all matters of HSEQ.
Key Responsibilities:
To ensure compliance with procedures and legislative and regulatory requirements for Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
To identify and correct hazards or potential hazards by the development of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Procedures.
To conduct daily, weekly and monthly inspections to ensure compliance against company policy and Health, Safety, Environment and Quality legislation.
To undertake audits to verify compliance and manage risk.
To develop and implement Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments Method statements, Policies and HSEQ paraphernalia to promote safety and compliance across the business.
To manage and develop documentation to support and improve ISOs 9001, 45001 and 14001
Review Sub Contractor RAMS and implements required controls.
To ensure all corrective actions as a result of incidents, audits, inspections and observations are being followed up and effectively closed out.
To develop the competence of personnel in health and safety through training and support and on-site mentoring.
Attendance at onsite HSE Meetings
To support and participate in emergency response planning and training.
To support the HSEQ Director in ensuring a world-class HSEQ system in is implemented across all sites both in the UK and Aboard.
Relevant experience
Proven ability in a similar role
NEBOSH General Certificate or working towards. A recognised qualification in Environmental management.

A methodical approach to problem-solving with a systematic approach to documentation
Excellent Analytical skills
Ability to thrive under pressure and situations with aggressive timelines
