We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Central HSEQ functional team for a minimum of 7 months to cover maternity leave. This role is ideally based out of our central Birmingham office; however, we are open to considering other locations for the right individual.
The salary will be discussed at interview stage.
As a member of our team, you'll gain invaluable experience within our Transport Infrastructure business unit. You will be collaborating with a multitude of internal stakeholders and learn from our team of HSEQ professionals.
As the HSEQ Administrator you will be at the forefront of gathering and analysing data and statistics, focusing on Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality across multiple transport infrastructure contracts throughout the UK.
The standard hours of work are 37.5 per week.

You will be responsible for:
- Provide administrative support to the HSEQ team
- Using technical input from others, draft management system documents, presentation, and briefings
- Manage on-line systems such as EcoOline, SAP and KPI scorecards and provide support to operations staff
- Participate in the assurance regime to gain experience of how the business operates
- Managing and updating the HSEQ SharePoint page
- Doing regular audit checks to ensure the business unit is complying with safety standards
What makes this role unique is that you will be fuelling the development of regular reports delivered to senior internal stakeholders, ensuring our business unit thrives. Additionally, you'll manage alerts and bulletins, communicating information to keep the business informed and engaged.
We want to hear from you if you:
- Are a well-organised and proactive individual with a genuine passion for data and reporting, supporting a fast-paced business function
- Have familiarity with ISO9001, ISO54001, and ISO14001 standards
- Have excel and reporting experience with the ability to compile complex reports and present them clearly to a varied stakeholder group
In addition to this, it would be desirable if you have EcoOline and SAP experiance to help you hit the ground running, although this is not essential as we will provide you with the required development you need to bring you up to speed.
