Group M globally began a large-scale transformation 3 years ago with an ambition to make advertising work better for people. In order to realise this vision of exponential 'connected growth' a new team of transformation professionals is being embedded in the business led by the UKs Chief Transformation Officer and this role will be a key position in the Transformation & Integration team as HR Transformation Director working across GroupM UK reporting to the T&I Strategy Partner on an initial up to 18 Month Fixed Term Contract. Why GroupM and this position...
- You’ll be accountable for delivering strategic projects and initiatives aligned to our HR transformation, proactively engage multiple teams (inside and outside of GroupM and their agencies) and stakeholders to support the vision of GroupM of shaping the next era of media where advertising works better for people.
- Set and reviews strategic direction with senior stakeholders at regular intervals and proposes course-correcting actions where appropriate.
- Establish and run a network of cross-functional stakeholders with a key dependency or required contribution to the successful transformation of our people function, establishing a regular cadence of connection, initiative prioritisation and accountability and development of innovative ways of working for collective program success
- Oversees and manages the portfolio of Strategic projects, ensuring successful set up, monitoring and delivery, reporting frequently on progress to key stakeholders - C-Suite and Operation leads
- Implement systems, protocols, and best practices that have been designed for efficient program management
- Line manager for Project managers, with overarching responsibility and programme management for the 'People function' transformation
- Key senior contact for stakeholders and the first point of contact for any questions/risks/challenges/ideas
- Ownership of portfolio planning activities to ensure change roadmap is feasible and aligned to overall business strategy
- Partnership with Planning team to gauge scale and complexity of future change roadmap
- Provides leadership, development, and direction to Planning Managers to enable timely delivery against agreed milestones.
- Oversees the preparation, review and reporting of project progress against: (i) agreed milestones; and (ii)achievement of benefits against strategy-driven targets; providing timely reporting to relevant parties and the Board.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong background working across HR Transformation collaboration with Chief People Officers and senior stakeholders
- Experience and confidence with leading and communicating with key business, technology and 3rd party partners
- Strategic problem solver with a track record of delivery / transformation in a matrixed and large -scale organisation(s)
- Strong programme management and leadership skills, with demonstrated experience overseeing large change and transformation programs while maintaining a focus on delivering through others throughout
- Knowledge and experience of a range of project and change management methodologies and tools (e.g. Agile, PROSCI)
- A passion for change and delivering value to customers
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a business-related field, or related field/ qualified by experience
