DUTIES
:

Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels. Meets with managers to develop specific recruiting plans. Develops and coordinates short- and long-term recruitment and staffing goals. Develops strategies responsive to management needs; aggressively target unrepresented areas.


Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university, and community college placement office as a source to generate qualified applicants. Maintains contact with state, local, federal, military, and private employment and training organizations, advertising media, and other applicant sources.

Schedules and attends career fairs, networking events and partners with managers on conducting hiring events at specific locations.


Directs the efforts of employment agencies and search firms, including negotiating and controlling employment related fees. Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interview. May provide initial screening to obtain work, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.

Coordinates with travel coordinator to arrange travel and lodging for applicants. Provides information company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.


Conducts offers, references and background checks.


Develops and conducts training programs for managers with a goal of improving recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reducing turnover.


Researches, analyzes, prepares, and presents hiring and statistics. Maintain records on recruiting activities as required. Participates in development of annual recruiting budget.


Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
:

Minimum:

1.Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of recruiting experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience

2. Staffing/recruitment experience, strong understanding, and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization from entry level to corporate staff.

3. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills evidenced by

1) conducting training or making presentations on HR related topics; and

2) having written HR policy documents, or free form correspondence to personnel on HR related matters.

4. Experience in Microsoft Office with basic Excel experience.

5. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.


Preferred:


1. Knowledgeable in the use of ADP Workforce Now or other AT software.

2. PHR/SHPR Certification
