Our HR support team are recruiting for a HR Shared Services Manager on a 12 month contract to manage the Evri HR Shared Services team operating as a centre of excellence, delivering efficient transactional and policy support to the business.
You will develop and evolve an effective HR Shared Services operating model within the HR function providing high quality transactional and policy support to the business. This will be underpinned by scoping and implementing enabling technology through automation that protects and enhances the level of customer service the team provides.
You will be accountable for:
- Strategically lead the HR Shared Services team to ensure the delivery of progressive, efficient and consistent employee life cycle actions. Focussing on excellence and added value.
- Proactive and strategic demand planning, ensuring efficient utilisation of HR Shared Services resources - for example, Peak planning and high-volume onboarding / offboarding programmes.
- Provide leadership, coaching and recognition to team members. Leading engagement to maintain morale and ensure team objectives support the overall Evri HR People Plan and business objectives.
- Be accountable for the day-to-day performance of the HR Shared Services team, effectively managing workloads utilising a case management system to set clear agreed SLA's and KPI's aligned to a positive employee experience on all services provided.
- Manage shared skills and knowledge in the team, addressing any concerns impacting shared service delivery.
- Owner of the HR system and account management relationship. Lead on any new system implementation.
- Be the superuser of current processes, promoting lean and efficient self-service access for existing and new colleagues, organising and participating in educational programs across the business including new manager inductions or creating online learning.
- Be solutions focussed through proactive scoping of new solutions and efficiency opportunities. Adapt to times of change and put in place temporary processes when needed.
- Protect the integrity of our data, by ensuring our systems provide accurate employee and management information through regular structured audits.
- Maintain a compliance culture, leading appropriate internal/external audit activity.
- Drive excellent customer service across the team, managing omni channel communication of consistent best practice process information, policy advice and guidance.
To be successful in this role you will have experience working within a HR shared services function with proven capability to lead, develop and motivate a team and create a best-in-class HR Shared Services team. You will have a strong customer focus mind-set and be passionate about employee experience and driving continuous improvement for all processes. Robust organisational skills with high attention to detail is key.
You will also;
- CIPD qualification or equivalent degree
- Experience and intermediate knowledge of LEAN procedures and techniques.
- Experience of HR systems (ideally Cascade).
- Experience of case management systems and processes
