Your Responsibilities
As a Human Resource Representative for John Deere Tractor Cab Assembly Facility located in Waterloo, IA, you will...
Act as a strategic thought partner, consultant, and advisor to business leaders and employees on HR-related matters.- Partner with the business to attract and develop talent.
- Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives within the unit.
- Support deployment of HR programs, organizational changes, policies, and initiatives in support of the business strategy.

What Skills You Need
Experience coaching/counseling both employees and managers on HR topics, or other confidential matters- Experience in providing consultation & support on employee performance and disciplinary issues
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate, and work with, various levels of leadership
- High level of personal integrity and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters
- Ability to operate as an inclusive employee, be aware of, and embrace, diversity of thought, cultural differences, and act as the voice of employees
- Ability to drive results amidst competing priorities
- Attention to detail and analytically driven
- Ability to work onsite at Waterloo Tractor Cab Operations Facility at least 4 days per week
What Makes You Stand Out
2 or more years of experience in HR processes, such as recruiting/staffing, operations, benefits- 2 or more years of prior recruiting experience
- Knowledge and experience using SAP and Talent Central tools
- Willingness to work with and develop relationships to support the Early Talent Programs at Waterloo Works
- PHR or SHRM Certification
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management
