HR Programme Manager Purpose

Our People Team encompasses all aspects of HR and Development with a goal to support the company’s growth ambition. The role is to ensure the coordinated and structured delivery of new systems and technologies, the implementation, review and update of employment processes and ensuring that people management working practices are ‘best in class’.

Reporting to the People Director, the HR Programme Manager will be responsible for the value added, 5-star, service the business requires in order to achieve its goal of being recognised as ‘the employer of choice’ and that the programme of delivery is implemented in a controlled and timely manner.

As HR Programme Manager you will:

  • Be the central point of coordination and responsibility for implementation of policies and procedures
  • Work with identified stakeholders to ensure that all programme initiatives are relevant, focused and meet the current and emerging needs of the business
  • Developing programmes, plans and priorities and determining the successful implementation
  • Supervise the implementation of new technologies and working systems from planning through to business integration, ongoing development and performance delivery
  • Develop communications channels to ensure that all key stakeholder and the wider workforce is kept up to date and aware of how the employment proposition is being developed and delivered to the business
  • Ensure that all communications channels are harnessed for the purposes of fully engaging the key stakeholder and that a two-way flow is evident and effectively used
  • Proactively engaging business stakeholders for the purposes of developing procedures and working practices that will deliver the DM employer value proposition
  • Report on budgetary performance, identifying opportunities to improve on current service levels and delivery
  • Overseeing and managing the project budget and governance documents

A key part of this role is the ability to identify Areas of Concern and Risks (behaviours/expectations), focusing on:

  • Identifying areas of concern and risks to the business
  • Identifying areas of potential conflict for the smooth implementation of identified projects and deliverables
  • Recording and reporting on risk management activities to ensure area and stakeholder alignment on projects and deliverables

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in managing and developing strong relationships with stakeholders
  • The ability to seamlessly plan and prioritise a product roadmap
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Demonstrable ability to work well individually and as part of a multi-discipline team
  • The ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and developers, including engaging and managing stakeholders for positive project fulfilment
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and management skills
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to ensured business change management activity is delivered appropriately
  • Ideally but not essentially a degree or similar higher education qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Ideally an understanding and working knowledge of Workday or similar ATS

Salary is circa £50,000pa depending upon experience and location is primarily at our Head Office on the outskirts of Bicester, however we can be flexible upon this.
