About the Role:

Based at home, you will lead on the formulation of new (and/or the revision and update of existing policies) with an aim to streamline all of our policies and procedures. You will also be required to prepare reports and/or policy papers with recommendations for the organisation. Reporting into and working closely with the Head of HR, your work will feed directly into our aim of improving the skills of our managers and enhancing our employee experience. You will manage the full policy cycle from collection of evidence, design, consultation and implementation, including undertaking equality considerations when required.

In addition you will be required to undertake evaluation of positions as required to ensure all current roles within VS have been reviewed. You will also support the HR team with other projects as and when required.

We are looking for an experienced HR professional who ensures they are up to date with current employment legislation and best practice. You will have extensive experience of drafting and implementing HR policies and procedures and demonstrate self motivation to ensure the task is completed.
