Job Description
As an HR officer / Internal Recruiter at Advance Motors, you will be responsible for hiring all new employees and provide generalist HR advice and support to management and staff. You will work closely with the managers in the company to make sure their hiring requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
HR Officer Main Responsibilities/Tasks:
Recruitment Selection:
- Identify candidates by utilising multiple strategies including Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media.
- To organise and deliver the recruitment and selection process on a day-to-day basis.
- Preparing and setting up adverts
- Checking and amending job descriptions
- Sending interview invites and ensuring interview attendance.
- Collation of completed interview packs and notifications to unsuccessful candidates.
- Send conditional offers of employment.
- Manage the on-boarding process to ensure that all legislative and safeguarding requirements are met. (DBS, Right to work etc.)
- To organise and facilitate company inductions for new starters.
- Manage probationary assessments with new starter’s line managers.
- Producing letters and conducting exit interviews with all employees who are leaving the company and give feedback and analysis where appropriate.
Employee Relations:
- Act as the first point of contact and manage the process of all employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary, variable working hours, restructures and capability reviews.
- Give advice and guidance to managers and employees on both formal and informal HR issues and employee relations matters that may occur.
- To attend employee relations meetings where minutes are required to be taken or HR support is necessary.
